We must repeal the Red Flag Law (AB291-NV). If we don’t we are forfeiting our rights of:
- Due process
- Presumption of Innocence
- Right to bear arms
- Protection against unreasonable search and seizure
- Protection against issuing of warrants without probable cause
- Protection against property seizure
- Right to be informed of charges
- Right to confronted witnesses
- Right to trial by jury
- Protection against cruel and unusual punishment
If these fundamental rights can be ignored and become settled law in the name of “Common Sense” or “Safety” or any other euphemism, this can easily be expanded to freedom of speech, religion, assembly etc. We cannot sit idly by and let this happen.
